| NPP was initiated by McKinsey, Deloitte, Ogilvy, Jun He, adfaith, Motorola, Novartis, YFY Group (Taiwan), China Youth Development Foundation, China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation in Oct. 2006 to support non-profit organizations by introducing the business model of "Venture Capital" to build "best practices", facilitate the development of standards for Chinese charity credibility and accountability, forge the communication platform for corporations and NPOs and establish the infrastructure of Chinese philanthropy. |
CSR Activities in China:
Aike Action
－ Professional Aike: Recruitment two thousand volunteers from companies specializing in consultation, PR, marketing, media, IT, finance and others to provide NGOs, Foundations, and philanthropy organizations with professional services for free.
－ Aike college: Providing opportunities to the youth who are interested in philanthropy, establishing the communication bridge between NGOs and NPP. NPP also provides skill training including consulting, accounting, and public relationship communicating skills to the interns, which cultivates charity leadership for future.
Non profit organization financial capacity building
－ NPP along with Deloitte has developed the NPO financial teaching material, and offered training courses to NGO’s leaders and financial officers.
－ NPP provided advanced financial capacity building training to NGOs.
－ Along with UFIDA, NPP will develop financial software for NGOs.
New Charity Awards
－ With finance support of companies, NPP provides funds to NPOs in the following fields: environment, education, health, services for the needed, art/sports, propagation protection, financial affairs, industrial research.
